This course provides focused, in-depth coverage of pharmacology and drug administration. Covers pharmacological nomenclature, drug classifications, pharmacokinetics, and drugs used in imaging. Includes comprehensive coverage of diagnostic contrast agents, along with drug administration procedures and legal and ethical aspects of medication administration. Also good up to date information on emergency procedures such as adverse reactions to contrast media and drugs used to treat cardiac and/or respiratory arrest and how to administer them appropriately.
